07/18/2003 Archived Entry: "Urges"

Due to something I'm writting about currently, I have this HUGE urge to purchase all kinds of Dreamcast peripherals...

I wouldn't be surprised if by this time tomorrow I'd have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of hardware from shaddy Internet sites!

I love this project that I've created for myself. It's fun and I'm learning a lot (and I mean A LOT) of useless trivia!

I'm the same way with ps2 accessories. Finding out about gocybershop.com (at king & university) has made things even worse. :( To top it off, I just spent over $100us for a gba flash cartridge/writer =P

is lik sang reliable?

Posted by Rayne @ 07/18/2003 11:48 PM EST

they were fine for me. that's the only non-north american place i've ordered from. and i meant gocybershop.ca above

gocybershop.ca seems about twice as expensive as Lik Sang when it comes to DC stuff =(

Buying third party stuff makes me nervous!

Holy crap, S&H is almost as much as what I'm buying, I'm not sure that this is worth it anymore...

That's why I like gocybershop.. I can just walk in and get stuff, no shipping!

Well, I just bought a Dreamcast Lightgun from EB. 24.99$ a little expensive, but whatever.

you kept trying to shoot me with it too!

Posted by shawnathan @ 07/21/2003 04:24 PM EST

that 24.99 lightgun also happens to not work very well. So i think "a little expensive" is quite the understatment. You were JEWED!!!!! (no offence to any readers of the site that are Jews)

I just wanted to add that I have had good servcie and bought from gocybershop.ca numerous times over the last few years - actually bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff - always worked out for me.

I haven't been there yet, but am PLANNING on going there eventually.

gocbyershop is the worst place ever. my service was horrible. i sent in my ps2 and they didn't even service for an entire month and then he emailed me after the month and said he was on vacation.

Shampa, too bad they were gone away, I got mine fixed with 3 days, they told me too expect a week due to being swamped with installs. Sony wouldnt even except it because it was tampered with!

AND IT WORKS AWESOME!
GO CYBER SHOP ROCKS

I took my pS2 to gocybershop at king and university and had a no-swap chip installed in a version 10 ps2 console - everything worked as discussed

also, got a memory expansion card (pretty cheap) :)

Bought an xenium for my xbox, had it installed by a local installer - works perfect! The good thing was it was an official xenium, I have heard of some others on the net selling fakes, but gocybershop is listed as an official reseller and the installer said it was a real xenium.

this place was one of the cheapest around.
