Contrary to what others may think, I find I have a lot more free time during the school term than the work term. Work requires 40 hours plus 5 for travelling each week while school only needs 15 and 2. And of course, school doesn't start until 11:30 or 2:30 so I can sleep at my right time and still get plenty of rest before having to be somewhere, even with unexpected guests dropping by at all times of the night!

In general, I get a lot more sleep here than in Ottawa, and while in Ottawa I usually got more sleep during weekdays than weekends. Funny how that works eh? The amount of sleep I get is inversely proportional to how late I stay out.

The problem though, is that I often FEEL like I have less time because of all the assignments and whatnot hanging ove my head. Most people are way too stressed by their homework and probably waste more time worrying about it than actually doing it (myself included), but really it's not that bad.

The one thing I find I have less time for now is updating this thing, I have a little less "me time" (and God knows I need tons of that!) here because there's always someone around and something going on that it's a little harder to come up with something to say here.

School never represents more time for me...lab reports are abundant (take a long time to complete as well)...and I still work...

I have to agree with you for this post thai, but i might be able to add something.

In fact, i have more time now that i am at school, but i also have a lot more pressure. Also, the fact is that the time i have when i come back from work is free of stress, while the time i take to do stuff that is not related to school brings constant afterthoughts of everything i could have done with that time... I know i am the one who puts this stress on my head, but am i really overstressed? I don't know... without that stress, there's a good chance that i wouldn't be able to meet my objectives.

All in all, though, i have more time now, but the free time i had in my work term was a lot more enjoyable. ahh, those wild summer nights with sarah... :P
lol.

I think if we all spent 37.5 hours a week on school work we'd be more than cruising with free time on our hands WITHOUT having stress hanging over our heads.
