All writers have to straddle that line between writing something that's too personal and ..erm..just personal enough.

I don't really speak about personal things - like emotions - here (or elsewhere) but sometimes, like right now, it's oh-so-tempting to compose something, scream it out at the top of my lungs for the world to hear and then keep walking along like nothing happened.

So here goes, *takes deep breath* ... nah.

Yes, I know that temptation. I try my best to keep more personal stuff (opinions, events etc.) out of my online journal. It just doesn't seem the right place for it all, you know?

Not many people read mine, nor have passwords for mine...so I'm a little more free in mine. But not much. I try not to use names either. But I have been tempted...

i think the inability to share some of my deepest thoughts and feelings is what keeps me from pursuing writing any further ... sometimes i too am rather tempted ... and then i remember that i'm a secretkeeper

When I write lyrics I tend to basically pour every ounce of myself onto the page. Sometimes it can be pretty scary to read back to myself. I just wish I had more time to write. I haven't written a song in a while now, so sad.

I wish I could write a song! I've tried but they never turn out. I'll stick to writing stories and scripts.

I think if I knew exactly who was and who wasn't reading this page I'd be more inclined to be more personal. The way it's set up now, it's certainly impossible to just rant endlessly about someone here.
