09/28/2003 Archived Entry: "R and R"

You really have no idea how tired you are until you go to lie down and don't get up for over twelve hours. I think this week was one of the more hectic ones in a while. School had been pretty lax for the first couple of weeks and then all of a sudden I had 3 co-op postings to look after and three different assignments. I don't think I went to bed before 3am a single night last week. Crazy.

That said, school's going alright so far. Though I haven't been this stressed about school in a long time. Not that this school term is harder than any of the previous ones per se, it's just that I'm expected to remember so much material from previous courses. Classes have always needed some previous material but it seems much more like we're expected to know old stuff without them giving us any kind of review of it this term. That scares me.

I know what you mean about being tired. I've had two days off this month. My next day off isn't until October 4th. Sometimes I'd only have a 5 hour shift but when you're going every single day it sure seems like more.
