More misdirection as it’s revealed the Kyle Singer does not carry the virus. At this point, I don’t even remember how they were put on Kyle’s trail in the first place. I think this show loses a lot of intensity from being watched in weekly installments, not to mention the fact that it’s too easy to lose sight of the big picture after a 7 day break. Stupid Kim getting caught by Gael, I think it happens way too often that someone will be sneaking around, finds something and then gets caught. Everyone should stop shooting scenes like that. I thought that it was a little silly that Hector had to call Gael to find out what was going on with his brother he should get cable and watch it all happen on CN3 news!

Survivor 7x11
NOOOOooooo!!! Chistaaaaa!! The CS chick is gone! Sigh. The girls that are left were very very very stupid. Darrah and Sandra have now each lost their surest allies and have become very easy pickings. Had Darrah teamed with Sandra and Christa this episode they could have taken matters into their own hands instead of having to rely on Jon for everything. It looks to me very much like Jon and Burton will make it to the end, and Burton’s plan of playing good cop to Jon’s bad cop should allow him to win, if in fact they’re the final 2. It was really interesting to hear Sandra say that she’d hate to go up against Lill since she was so liked by everyone because I Hate Lill. She’s such a whiny, naïve, and dense person. And constantly complaining and pouting, it’s terrible. Anyone left can win, just not Lill, please. She didn’t know what Bruschetta was! That alone deserves her to lose.

The Simple Life 1x02
I missed the first episode, sadly. But I doubt I missed anything too important, just the setup. From this episode, this shows seems like it’s about Paris and Nicole complaining and being very obnoxious. All they do is complain, but it’s funny to watch nonetheless. I have to wonder how much is the direction telling them to start doing silly things and how much is actually the girls being silly. I mean, they packed swimsuits to their first day of work? The BBQ was hilarious, everyone seemed so awkward; they didn’t know what to say to each other as if there was a camera on them the whole time. Then the girls just ran away! Paris actually reminds me of someone I knew not long ago. I’m not sure I like this show or not it seems very…forced, or at least much more forced than most reality series are. I hope that the show will end with some character development for the girls and the family.

Survivor

I have to agree...Lillian (no terms of endearment here) is ANNOYING...the only logical thing she said all season happened on the recent episode...how she claimed that people should not be judged by how nice they are, but in how they play the game...however, that's the most sparks she'll make fly...

As for Christa...'shudder'...her binary brain couldn't even compute on how to hold a gun, among other fallacies...

Its hard to be rooting for any of the people remaining...but, I'd like to see Burton and Darrah in the final two...just cuz I'd hate it if anyone else remaining even got a whiff of that cash...in Survivor, its common to have a dislike for one or two people...this season certainly makes for an exception...

i hate survivor. i refuse to watch it. sadly i might get drawn in when i go home for christmas. at least here i don't feel the need to join other in watching it, as i sometimes feel at home.

but then there's the silly paris hilton show... i talk about it a bit here, as well as a brief opinion on the excellence of pirates of the carribean that was watched later that night.

Christa does come off as a big dopy goof most of the time, but I just had to cheer for her since she was a CS chick. I agree with your choices of Darrah and Burton for the most part. I truly hope that Darrah realizes that Jon should not be trusted.

I could comment on Survivor and why I'm watching it but that's a whole other entry for some other day.

how long do you think it will be before jon's little lie about his grandmother gets out? it will be certainly interesting when that happens. i'm starting to actually like darrah now ... she's quite the fierce competitor .. and i think she played the game well by kind of hiding that until after the merge ... and why did sandra keep saying that she wouldn't want to be in the final two with lil b/c everyone would vote for lil? who in their right mind would vote for that blubbering idiot?

why have i gotten sucked into the downward spiral that is survivor? this is what happens when you don't have any homework to do ... and i did so well at boycotting it for so long ... *sigh*

According to most survivor sites, the contestants found out about Jon's lie the same time us viewers did. So it never got out...who knows, maybe he won the million and now everyone feels like total idiots for having voted for him.

I don't see Darrah as a fierce competitor at all, she just happened to win 2 immunity challenges is all. From what I can tell, though, the people who stay in the background tend to get pretty far in survivor.

This is my first seaon of survivor...I too had boycotted its previous 6 seasons.
