but ... do you like martinis, dan? b/c maybe it wasn't the specific drink but the drink in general
and isn't it ironic that one of the resolutions is to "bulk up" to 150 pounds ... where a girl's would be to "slim down" to 150 pounds ... where's the justice? i mean ... bulking up to 150 is nothing ... i could do that in my sleep ;)

I've wanted to buy "how to mix drinks" books many times but nah. AND, I was so limited by what I had around, so its not my fault that martini came out tasting like ass =P
Gaining weight is hugely difficult if you only want to gain it in certain places. I'm sure gaining 8 pounds in all the wrong places would be dead simple.

Martini: 1.5 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. Dry Vermouth....ahhh...Superb!

No need to buy a book Thai, there are "small" programs on the net you can get for free.
Trust me Mel, it was the specific drink in general...Thai was the first to tell me to pour it down the sink...:P

but I like books! programs that teach you to mix drinks seems very...strange.

and the books usually look nice and shwanky too .. i have a book or two ... unfortunately i don't have the needed liquors to make anything more complicated than a screwdriver :S

waoh, those are tough new year resolutions, thai. meet one new person a week and get to know them or just to meet them for the sake of knowing their name?

all books look swanky in my opinion.
and i'm not really interested in getting to know someone new once a week...more just like making an effort to at least learn their name and if let things progress naturally. god that sounds trite.
